El Golfo, Mexico Beach Camping May, 2000

Eah Memorial Day weekend, We join several friends at a small fishing village in Mexico called El Golfo de Santa Clara. The Village is at the North end of the Sea of Cortez, about 60 miles South of Yuma, Arizona. We camp on the beach about 3 miles South of town. There are about 30 miles of beach and dunes to enjoy and we do! Days are spent either on the beach, at Lighthouse Hill, or at the El Capitan cantina. This year we were joined by friends from the East and West coast for this annual trek to the beach.
